IBDHorizons June 23rd Dialogue
Navigating Ulcerative Colitis Therapies Today (Peds focus)
Moderated by Dr. Ghassan Wahbeh and Dr. Joel Rosh
Based on emerging data, new publications, and latest developments at the recent national and international IBD meetings, the program will focus on a practical approach to managing young adults with UC. Given the expansive therapeutic options, the discussion will follow a UC case from diagnosis onwards with the goal of sharing experience between the moderators and attendees. Both moderators bring wide expertise as professors in the field of IBD. Discussion will encompass the different mechanisms of action of the available therapies, including biologics/biosimilars and small molecules, efficacy, and safety profiles, integration into today’s practice, individualization of therapy and preventing complications.
