Symposium Preparation
Yes, the presenting author must be registered for symposium.
If the Scientific Program Committee extends an invitation, oral presentation with slide visuals (powerpoint) is required.
An accepted abstract for oral presentation must be given live. While we don’t allow recording of general meeting sessions, you’re welcome to have someone unaffiliated with IBDHorizons record your presentation.
Absolutely. The additional person must be over 18 years old. Please have them register for the conference, or ask an IBDHorizons team member for assistance.
IBDHorizons is unable to provide travel or housing. If you’d like hotel discount information, please email the IBDHorizons team.
Additional Printed Poster Guidelines
Maximum height: 50 inches. Maximum width: 35 inches. Posters will be affixed to boards with pushpins supplied on-site.
Keep all elements of your poster (including pictures, tables, graphics, etc.) simple.
All posters must be in English.
Visitors have to be able to read the poster from a distance of up to 4 feet.
Your poster should be structured to include: background, methods, results, conclusion. Your poster should not require extensive clarification, but be self-explanatory.
